Attention Minnesotans! The 2012 legislative session officially starts today at noon! This year is shaping up to be another thrilling session, with issues like Voter ID, environmental regulations, the Vikings stadium, a multitude of proposed constitutional amendments, and others coming to the forefront. With these concerning things going on, you can bet that MPIRG will be at the Capitol following what’s happening, updating you on the issues you care about, and urging legislators to support policies that benefit students and our communities. We encourage all Minnesotans to follow the legislative session, get involved, and demand decision makers work to create a better Minnesota that we all know is possible.
